The Los Angeles Printmaking Society is putting on an art show called “Mini Print LA,” from April 18th to May 17th, 2026. Artists were invited to submit 7″x7″ prints on the theme of “In the Present.” I received the 3rd Prize for my entry, “Hummingbird Proverb,” a linocut incorporating nature images and the text of Proverbs 14:32.
From the LAPS: “Executed in various printmaking techniques, the works by more than a hundred artists around the world exhibit bold, critical and vulnerable artistic responses that refuse distance but reflect on the present.”
The show is at the Boathouse Gallery at the Plaza de la Raza in Los Angeles.
