I had a great time undertaking this mural project for a private home. The homeowners and I discussed what kind of image they would like, and I made an original linocut print illustration of their idea. We projected it onto the wall and traced out the pattern of the linocut image, then I painted in the image in inky blue. It’s an ocean scene with botanical elements and lots of linocut textures.
